This month, my office is hosting a Holiday Food Support Drive, culminating in a special distribution event we’re calling Merry Meals. In partnership with Subway Sandwiches, the Berryessa Union School District, and Martha’s Kitchen, we’ve created a program that will provide free boxes of food, fresh sandwiches, and a chance for kids to meet Santa.
Resources will be reserved for BUSD-identified families who are currently at risk of food insecurity. We’re asking for your support to help ensure local students and their families have the nourishment they need this holiday season. Every donation goes directly to Martha’s Kitchen, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to supply meals, food boxes, and other essential items to families in urgent need.
$30 provides 10 meals to those in need. Please consider donating today!
